The strain gauge output leads from the back panel should be attached to the bridge amplifier following the color coding. The bridge amplifier provides the DC offset to remove any bridge voltage due to unbalanced conditions. The gain amplifies the small signal from the bridge. You may need to route the output from the bridge amplifier to an additional amplifier if you are unable to remove the DC signal using only the bridge amplifier. The final output from the bridge amplifier should then be attached to the proper measuring instrument (computer, oscilloscope, and/or multimeter).
