SpokenMedia at NMC 2009

Presentation on “Building Community for Rich Media Notebooks: The SpokenMedia Project” at 2009 New Media Consortium Summer Conference draws an audience of 23 academic technologists. Brandon Muramatsu and Phil Long presented on the work underway to improve search and discovery of web videos and podcasts via media-linked transcripts. They presented on the current state of the project, and facilitated a discussion on the future directions and needs of the audience.
