Introduction to Macromedia Flash - Guest lecturer, Howie Vu will give a brief introduction to Macromedia Flash. Howie Vu's office hours: W 1-5:00pm 226 Kroeber Hall; Th 1-5:00pm in the Mac Lab. (He has a class from 10-1:00pm and office hours afterwards. If there are no questions he only stays at the begining of office hours, so its best for ME39C students to arrange to meet with him or be there at 1:00pm.)

- FTP - How to FTP Into Your Account
- If you're using a Mac and are in a campus lab or in the dorms, you can use the Chooser to connect to the maclab.me.berkeley.edu. Follow the same directions as you use in lab: AppleShare - How to Log Into Your Account using AppleShare.
- If you're using a Mac, running OS 8.0 or greater and connect to the network via an ISP you can still use the Chooser. After selecting Appleshare, you can select Server IP Address. In the box enter 128.32.126.152, enter your username and password as normal.
- If your using Win95/98/NT and are in a campus lab or dorms, you can map your account as a network drive. Ask Brandon for more instructions.

class we will break into groups and explore the Mattel Case Study. After
examining the case study, each group will then be assigned another case
study to compare with Mattel.
