Online Course Design Guide

An Introductory Guide to Designing Online Courses

The Online Course Design Guide and accompanying website are designed to help guide faculty and instructional designers develop online courses. The accompanying website is intended to share the “lessons learned” by experienced practitioners in online course design. We updated and maintain the guide as part of the Digital Learning Toolkit.

We convened a team of experts in online learning in higher education and corporate learning to collaboratively author the guide.

I conceived of and produced the guide as part of the Online Teacher Education project.
