Electronic Boarding Passes

On my last two trips, I’ve used United’s electronic boarding pass feature to download a copy of the boarding pass to my iPhone.

Thankfully, when I did this, I took a screenshot (simultaneously press the Home and Sleep/Wake/Power buttons) of the 3D barcode. Given the way mobile Safari works, it sometimes tries to do a refresh on the page including the boarding pass page. Of course that means the 3D barcode might not be available or displayed when *you* want to checkin. Thankfully you can create a screenshot so it’s always available.
