Tuesday Tip: LED Lightbulbs

I found a link to an article comparing some of the available LED lightbulbs. What I like about Marco Arment’s site is that he does a comparison on the light and color given off by each of these LED lights via photographs.

His best go to bulb? Lighting Science Definity – A19 Omni V2 – Dimmable – 2700K – 60 Watt Replacement

I might try a couple of these for a couple fixtures in my apartment. (I really dislike the color temperature of CFL and dislike the Mercury in them from a disposal perspective.)

I’m still hoping these (and all LED bulbs) drop faster in price. And I need a high lumen replacement for my halogen fixtures (they’re great in the winter when it’s cold, but I’ve kept them off this summer for the first time in over a decade because of the heat).
