Addendum: “Better” Web Video-Conferencing in a Medium Conference Room
I also shot some video using a 2011 iMac’s built-in HD FaceTime camera. I still think the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is still a better choice. (Plus the iMac isn’t exactly portable.)
27″ iMac (2011) Built-in HD FaceTime Camera
Here’s an example video captured through the Skype setup window on my 27″ iMac. The iMac is setup at the end of a 10-foot conference table. It has a slightly better field of view than the camcorder or external iSight, and better audio. It’s intended for a couple people sitting in front of the computer at a desk, and not for a conference room.
