Which Lounge?

So, I’m flying through Frankfurt on my way home and I decided to go to the lounge* between flights. So, I walk into the closest lounge to my gate, it indicates that my status will let me into the lounge. But in sterotypical German efficiency, I’m told I need to go to the Senator lounge instead. Ok, so in theory that lounge is “nicer” than the one I’m trying to get into, but really, I’m just going to sit down have a soda and maybe some cookies. But whatever, since I’m “eligible” to go to the lounge, obviously I should go to the lounge.

(The one I tried to go into was the one on the lower right hand side of the photo, the one for First Class, Business Class and Star Alliance Gold. I got turned away and sent to the one in the upper left hand corner. And you gotta love Flickr, since I really should have taken my own photo while there.)

* And for all of you throwing daggers at me for even being able to go to a lounge in the first place. In this case, it’s one of the perks for flying as much as I do. One of the few that are left.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
