Small world

Both yesterday and today I saw a San Francisco parking permit on cars while driving to/from Cambridge. One was 2008, one was for 2009. Both were area G. What are the odds.

(Yes it’s a bit unusual that I remember what the permits look like, and can recognize them still.)
