I’m doing something wrong…

When reading about President Obama’s proposed budget, and what he has cut from it, I’m struck by the thought that I must be doing something wrong.

Among the programs on the president’s chopping block:

  • A Department of Education attaché position in Paris. Cost: $632,000.

Not only was that position education related, but it’s in Paris! The cost must be salary, plus living expenses, plus transportation. Yeah I think I could do that. Is it really to late to sign up? I’d even learn how to speak French.
