Picnic and Tour!

A picnic with the California Maritime ASME Student Section. There will be tours of the Training Ship The Golden Bear and our Steam Plant and Bridge Simulators. This will be a great experience and fun for the kids of the family members.

The California Maritime Academy is a four-year state college of business, engineering, technology and marine transportation. It has an excellent reputation for its direct, hands-on approach, practical and real-world oriented. $10 for the First Guest, $5 for each additional person
Going Eastbound on I-80
  • Cross Carquinez Bridge and pay toll
  • Exit right onto Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29)
  • Left at first (yellow flashing) signal onto Maritime Academy Drive
  • Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus
Going Westbound on I-80
  • Exit right onto Maritime Academy Drive.
  • Cross Sonoma Blvd at red flashing signal
  • Follow Maritime Academy Drive onto campus.
Once on Maritime Academy Drive:
  • Follow Maritime Academy Drive all the way to the waterfront
  • Take a right onto Morrow Cove Drive
  • Take Morrow Cove Drive along the waterfront to the parking area.
  • The picnic will be straight ahead at the student center.
