What Went Wrong with Deregulation?

Chevron Energy Solutions

Since it was announced that Chevron has purchased some of the assets of PG&E Energy Services, there have been many questions about what oil company's intentions were for entering the ESP market. Lee will discuss and will answer this question. He also will describe their business model and how it addresses the needs of the customers.

Also there has been much news coverage about the deregulation of the electricity industry in California and about the problems that have resulted. Along with useful information, there also seems to be a lot of confusion about how deregulation was supposed to work and what went wrong. Lee will provide an overview of the policies and practices that led us to where we are today. We expect a lively round of questions & answers.
