"Caltrans Presentation on the San Francisco Seismic Retrofit Projects"

According to Caltrans, there are five major projects that will be focused in San Francisco. These are located at: 1) Yerba Buena Island; 2) The West Span of the Bay Bridge (from Yerba Buena to the San Francisco Anchorage); 3) The elevated West Approach to the Bay Bridge (from the Anchorage to the Fifth Street ramps); 4) The elevated Bayshore Viaduct (I-80 from Fourth Street to Sixteenth Street); and 5) The elevated Central Freeway (US 101 connecting I-80 to the Fell and Oak Street ramps in the City).

The speakers from CalTrans will help answer these questions: How will these projects be implemented? How much money will this cost?How long will these projects last? How will this affect your commute and parking availability?
