Tour of the Owens Brockway Glass Factory
This tour will guide us through the process of making wine bottles from raw materials, i.e. recycled glass. These raw materials are crushed finely and then heated in a furnace that contains a molten glass lake. The molten glass is then blown into wine bottles and other shapes and allowed to cool.

No tennis shoes or open toe shoes allowed.
Directions: From I-880, take the A Street exit toward Downtown. Turn left on West A Street and then make a hard left onto Hathaway Avenue.
