If you're tight on time for dinner -- the library prefers no food in the meeting room, but they are understanding --. just make sure you spill nothing and leave no trash for the ants to clean up. The South Branch is on the north-east corner of Martin Luther King Avenue and Russell Street, two blocks north of Ashby Avenue (Hwy 13) and the Ashby BART Station. For freeway access, take the Ashby exit from I-80, the Martin Luther King exit from eastbound I-580, or the Telegraph exit from westbound Hwy 24 (turn right and go north on Telegraph., left on Ashby to MLK, right to Russell). There is ample, free, on-street parking in the vicinity of the library.

How time flys when you're having fun (DiscoverE, MathCounts, ....). My apologies for my delay in reviewing January Meeting questionaires and scheduling our next get-together. Check the front page for info on our first stand-alone Small Business Committee/Discussion Group meeting on Tuesday, April 23.

Welcome Santa Clara Valley Section and Mount Diablo Section Small Business Members. Representatives of other Region IX Sections listened with interest to my March 23 Small Business Outreach presentation at our annual ASME Regional Administrative Conference. Santa Clara Valley Section asked to piggy-back on our activities until they have resources to start their own. Eventually, we may have a group in each greater SF Bay Area section with meetings different days /weeks of the week/month with topics varied to reach more members with more value. Watch the SF Section Web Page for the latest info.
