Vizio 3D TV and Sony PS3
This was annoying me to no end. How to get my Vizio 3D TV (E3D320VX) to display 3D content from my Sony PS3.

Seemed like it should be straighforward...
Sony did a brilliant (*ahem*) job of simplifying the setup for the PS3. They have lots of menus, with lots of sub-menus, but have decided to hide them if the PS3 doesn’t think you need them. Um, the freaking menu system is already more complex than it needs to be, don’t try and hide some of it “just because”.
I finally found an article on the Playstation website online that helped me figure it out. (Also it didn’t help that I had to tell the Vizio what type of 3D to use.)
Why doesn’t the PS3 recognize the make and model of TV? Apple’s been doing that for years with monitors.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
Ok i have this exact same model 3D tv and ive spoke to sony and vizio and heres the thing im having a problem getting picture it keeps saying no signal im just wondering if you had this problem at any point and if i need a different HDMI cord because im just using standard im not useing my 3d on ps3 right now because i cant get picture and the cord is out dated small standard hdmi my good hdmi is on my cable box so if you have any ideas on how i can get this to work please dont be afraid to write me at my email. thx
I’m having the same problem. Did you find a solution? I’m wondering if the tv has a problem with HDMI code from the PS3.
Did you read the Sony help article linked in the post, http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=2125? That’s what I followed to resolve the configuration problem.
