Reusing Shopping Bags

,

When I moved to Logan, UT I thought that I really should make the effort to reuse my shopping bags. But, for whatever reason I never managed to ingrain the habit. While it would have been better to not continue to get new bags, I did use the bags for trash bags or returned the bags to be recycled.

Fast forward to Massachusetts. I’ve done much better at reusing a small number of shopping bags.

Trader Joe’s even has a cute sign in the window to help encourage the practice. (And I can enter my name in a monthly drawing for a prize.)
