Brandon’s Fortune Cookie Sayings Coming Soon!

Let me start off with, I <3 WordPress.

For years (okay, maybe decades) I’ve been saving all of the fortune cookie sayings I’ve received. Yes, I’m weird.

About a year ago I decided that I should either write or find a plugin to let me display all of these accumulated sayings on my site. I used a site to create this “animated” Fortune Cookie as a sample. It works, but I didn’t want link off to another site for the Flash needed to display this on my site on an continuous basis. So I shelved the idea.

That was up until I found a plugin called Stray Random Quotes that lets me add random quotes via a widget or shortcode.

So, fortunes are coming soon.

(Oh the reason I went looking for a plug-in like this was to display some great sayings on our new Greenfield project site.)
