Chances Are?
They Could Win
“A team of Canadian mathematicians have peen picking their large, delectable brains over whether humankind could survive a zombie apocalypse.
Wylie, David. (2009, August 15). Mathematicians study possible zombie attack and conclude the undead could win. Vancouver Sun. Saturday August 15, 2009.
And?
An outbreak of zombies infecting humans is likely to be disastrous, unless extremely aggressive tactics are employed against the undead.”
Source: Imad, J., Munz, P., Hudea, I. and Smith, R.J. (2009). When Zombies Attack!: Mathematical Modelling of an Outbreak of Zombie Infection. Appears in Infections Disease Modelling Research and Progress.
Hrm, maybe I should be practicing with the bow and arrow to survive the Zombie attack.
* The best part, David Wylie wrote the first article. It’s left to the reader to say why that’s funny!

Pop quiz!
Zombies are fun, and a danger to everyday society. By informing people of their ideal weapon, the entire human race is one step closer to surviving Z-day.
So, I’ve said before that I like Zombie games. So, it seemed natural to take this quiz about Zombie fighting weapons. Unfortunately the questions weren’t really relevant (and hence a sampling isn’t included) like the Would You Survive a Horror Movie? quiz.
So, what weapon best suits me?

So, just shooting zombies is fun…but we need more purpose in life…
–Narrator
Um, why?
-or-
How can Skittles and your iPhone save the world from Zombies?
I just ran across this awesome augmented reality game for mobile devices from O’Reilly’s Radar. In ARhrrrr you have to kill zombies (and I guess…save townspeople…that “purpose in life” above). I’ve embedded the video below.
I always liked Zombie games…
