As a followup to my post about entrepreneurism in Boston, here’s an audio clip about imported ice…

Used under fair use principles.
From my original post:
In the 1800s, enterprising entrepreneurs created ponds around the greater Boston area in order to harvest ice. One fellow even went so far as start a business shipping ice from Boston to Puerto Rico.

Haven’t you always wanted to do this?
Seat Selection
(P.S. I’ve always wanted to choose the wing to see if I can get someone to have a William Shatner moment…props to the first person to email me with the reference.)

I’m a little late for Friday Funny, I meant to post this yesterday.
Here’s a photo series of a rocket scientist in the MIT West Garage on April 13, 2010.
The black Honda, our rocket scientist, blocked in a mini-van (and was trying to get his rear end clipped by a passing car). Thankfully for the mini-van, s/he was able to get out.
The first 5 photos were taken in the morning, around 11:30am. The last one at about 5:45pm.
(I’ve had this happen to me before. Some idiot blocked me in while parked at the Canyons ski resort in Park City. Thankfully my friends’ car was parked in front of mine. Though I did fold the mirrors backwards of the black SUV that blocked me in. Unfortunately I didn’t take photos of that idiot.)
