Tuesday Tip: iTunes Window Extending Off the Screen?

Sometimes my iTunes gets confused and the window extends off the bottom of the screen. This happens after I’ve opened iTunes while connected to an external monitor, and then close and open the program on my laptop. Even after clicking on the Maximize green plus button in the window header, iTunes doesn’t resize to the current maximum window size.

Arrrgh, very annoying.

How to fix it?

Click on the maximize button while holding down the Option key. Presto.

I’m not sure why iTunes isn’t correctly detecting the current maximum screen resolution in which the iTunes window is placed.
