Two Thumbs Up–Frost Transportation

July 31st, 2009 by Brandon Muramatsu No comments

Update: They’re now called Patriot Taxi! And kudos to Justin for picking me up after mixups, twice!

I found Frost Transportation: Taxi Cab & Livery Car via a web “>search. Over on Yahoo! Local, I found a large number of positive reviews, so I thought I’d try them out today (well yesterday now) to get to the airport.

Two thumbs up.

What zombie fighting weapon best suits you?

Pop quiz!

Zombies are fun, and a danger to everyday society. By informing people of their ideal weapon, the entire human race is one step closer to surviving Z-day.

So, I’ve said before that I like Zombie games. So, it seemed natural to take this quiz about Zombie fighting weapons. Unfortunately the questions weren’t really relevant (and hence a sampling isn’t included) like the Would You Survive a Horror Movie? quiz.

This is just wrong…

I don’t really use Facebook, preferring to publish instead here at my website. However, I popped over recently and saw that Facebook recommended I add:

Portola Hotel–Left Hand, Right Hand

July 28th, 2009 by Brandon Muramatsu No comments

Um, I got an email today from the Portola Hotel, of prior fame on my blog.

A summer getaway at Portola is always appealing, but even more so when it comes with a great rate.

Actually, as I’ve said before, service is even more appealing.

I don’t think a low rate will be enough to draw me back.

Ok I might be going crazy…

I was reading a Warcraft blog when, out of nowhere a voice on my computer said,

Congratulations you’ve been selected to receive a $1,000 Walmart gift card.

Um, ok which browser window said that.

By the way I hate web site ads that play music or speak to you–you’re just making me want to ignore you even more than I already do. And I’m not going to click on you anyway. Annoying your potential customers = fail.

And then my computer crashed–I blame the bad advertisement.
